Proper nutrition can make a difference and can make a decisive contribution to the success of the examinee.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With exams approaching &#8211; school exams, Panhellenic exams, university exams, stress and fatigue are hitting&#8230; red! And although we all recognize that stress doesn&#8217;t help and it&#8217;s important to have breaks for rest and performance rotation, no matter how busy a student&#8217;s or pupil&#8217;s schedule may be, this is often easier in theory than in practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>But what can certainly help &#8211; and is very simple to put into practice &#8211; is to strengthen the body and the brain more specifically, through the vitamins and valuable elements we get from food or from specialized supplements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Nutrition in exams: The best options<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Food choices during a period of intense fatigue and stress are very important and can make a difference in a student&#8217;s performance. The following foods are considered excellent choices to improve brain function and reduce stress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eggs:<\/strong> Eggs contain choline and vitamin D, two substances that help the nervous system function better, boost the immune system and improve memory and brain performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Fatty fish:<\/strong> Small fish that are easy to find this time of year, such as sardines and anchovies or fish like salmon and herring, are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, essential for nervous system and immune health.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Nuts and seeds:<\/strong> In addition to being a healthy snack for immediate energy, nuts and seeds (e.g. sesame seeds, chia seeds) &#8220;fill the body&#8221; with vitamins and minerals such as magnesium and omega-3 fatty acids. Some excellent examples are almonds, rich in vitamins B3 and E, walnuts which provide us with polyphenols, magnesium, zinc, potassium and vitamins E and K and peanuts which are high in niacin and folate, valuable substances for the nervous system!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Fruits and vegetables:<\/strong> Fresh, colorful seasonal fruits and vegetables are another valuable food category. They are rich in vitamins A, E, and C, a host of minerals and trace elements as well as antioxidants that protect the brain and act against stress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Meat, fish and dairy products:<\/strong> All of them are good sources of B vitamins and zinc, important for efficient brain function.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Dark chocolate:<\/strong> In addition to being a sweet break, chocolate is rich in magnesium, which helps control stress and antioxidants that protect the brain from damage caused by free radicals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">All the essential vitamins in one capsule!<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The busy lifestyle of young and old in the family and the daily demands do not always allow us to follow a balanced diet with a variety of vitamins, minerals and trace elements.
